Enterprise Fibre Solutions

Enterprise Multi-Cabinet Fibre Backhaul Installation in Gauteng

We design, splice, and OTDR-certify inter-cabinet fibre optic backbones — MDF to IDF, floor to floor, building to building — for networks that outgrew copper.

Why Upgrade to an Inter-Cabinet Fibre Backbone?

10GbE/40GbE switching, cloud sync, VoIP, dense UniFi access points and 4K IP cameras all push past what Cat6/Cat6a can carry over distance — and copper's 90–100m limit doesn't care how good your switch is.

Uncompromising Throughput

Deploy 10/40/100Gbps links between racks. Eliminate the copper bottleneck and ensure seamless data flow for virtualized environments and high-traffic SANs.

Zero EMI Interference

Ideal for industrial settings with heavy machinery. Fibre is immune to electromagnetic interference, ensuring data integrity in even the harshest electronic environments.

Future-Proof Scalability

Install once, upgrade indefinitely. Fibre optic infrastructure supports multiple generations of network hardware, protecting your long-term capital investment.

Multi-Building Connectivity

Bridge the gap between floors or adjacent buildings without distance-related signal degradation. High-capacity links for expansive commercial campuses.

Fibre Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need multimode or single-mode fibre?

It comes down to distance and future headroom. Multimode (OM3/OM4) covers most inter-cabinet runs under 300–500m at a lower cost per port. Single-mode (OS2) is the right call for inter-building or campus-scale backhauls, or where you want long-term headroom past 100G. We confirm this during the site survey with an actual loss-budget calculation, not a guess.

Can you install fibre without disrupting our live network?

Yes. Cable deployment, patch panel fitting and splicing are scheduled around your production hours where required, and the final cutover to the new link is a short, planned window rather than an extended outage.

What proof of performance do we get at handover?

Every link is OTDR-tested to Tier 1 or Tier 2 as specified, with light-loss readings and splice documentation supplied on handover — so you have a record for warranty, insurance, or future fault-finding.

Do you work inside existing racks from other installers?

Yes. We regularly splice into and clean up existing cabinets — including standardising patch panel layout and labelling as part of the same job — rather than requiring a full rebuild.
