When you subscribe to a plan with Local IT Guy or any of its fibre partners, you can expect to receive a connection speed that meets the advertised specifications. However, it’s worth noting that the speed you ultimately experience when using the internet is influenced by several other factors as well.
One of the most significant factors that affect your online speed is the device you are using to access the internet. If you are using an outdated or underpowered device, you may not be able to take full advantage of the speed of your internet connection. Similarly, if your device is bogged down with unnecessary software or malware, it can slow down your online experience significantly.
Another critical factor that can impact your internet speed is your network configuration. If your router is not set up correctly or if you are using outdated network hardware, it can negatively impact your online speed. Additionally, factors such as the number of devices connected to your network, the distance between your device and the router, and the type of connection you are using can all affect your internet speed.
