No internet during Load Shedding is caused by network towers that are offline. Network towers operate on electricity and only a few have backup batteries to stay On during power failure. During Load Shedding when the network is poor, there is absolutely nothing you can do but wait until the power is back On and systems have restarted.

When there is scheduled Load Shedding, you might have power in your area, but the site with the tower has no electricity. When this happens, you will experience No Internet on your internet router. Always check your local Load Shedding schedule to know when your area will have no power to plan ahead.
